Will takes on an ultra-marathon for Motor Neuron Disease

At Globacare, we are incredibly proud of the people who make up our team, not just for the work they do, but for the values they live by.

This year, Will is taking on an extraordinary personal challenge to raise money and awareness for Motor Neuron Disease (MND).

For many years, Will has set himself an annual fundraising challenge, supporting causes close to his heart. To date, he has raised funds for Dorset Mind, Dorset Air Ambulance, and Alzheimer’s charities. In 2026, his focus turns to supporting people and families living with MND, a devastating condition that most of us are sadly familiar with, either personally or through someone we know.

On 31st January 2026, Will will be completing an ultra-marathon walk from Bournemouth Pier to Weymouth, alongside Paul Harris, also known as “The Walking Warrior”, a former Royal Marine who has walked around the UK twice. Together, they will be pushing themselves physically and mentally to make a difference for others.

Motor Neuron Disease is a cruel and life-limiting condition that affects the brain and nerves, gradually taking away the ability to move, speak, eat, and breathe. The need for funding, both to support families living with MND and to help find a cure, is urgent.

We are hugely proud of Will for once again stepping up, paying it forward, and using his time and energy to support those who need it most.

If you are able to donate, whether it’s a few pounds or more, every contribution helps and is deeply appreciated.
